Hostio and Laravel Forge
Forge is built by the Laravel team and provisions servers in seconds. Hostio is about what happens after: the scheduler, the queues and the PHP cache on servers that have been running for years.

Hostio
- Adopt is read-only and does not depend on the panel that built the server. We have run it on Ploi-managed and hand-built servers, not yet on a Forge one: tell us if yours is.
- 40 read-only checks for the failures a deploy tool does not see: stopped scheduler, wrong queue, full OPcache, double worker, unlisted root key.
- Every write is preview → apply → roll back, with a rescan first and an operation log entry.
- Moves a site to another server in approved steps, including the DNS cut-over.
- Health €0 (2 servers, read-only), Pro €19 (10), Agency €49 (50).
When Forge is the better choice
If you start new Laravel apps often and want a fresh server in seconds with zero-downtime deploys, Forge is made for that. Hostio does not provision Laravel VPS and does not offer zero-downtime deploys yet.
